Popantel Tapewormer & Allwormer For Dogs

Tapeworms can be treated and killed with Popantel Tapeworm tablets. In addition to protecting your pet against heartworm and other intestinal worms with another product, it's an excellent wormer to use (such as an annual heartworm injection along with Nexgard Spectra or Simparica Trio - these products protect your pet from roundworms, hookworms, but not tapeworms).

Popantel Tapeworm tablets contain praziquantel, which paralyzes and kills the tapeworm by attacking its nervous system.  

Popantel Allwormer Tablets for Dogs are designed for the control of Roundworm, Whipworm, Hookworm, Tapeworm and the Hydatid Tapeworm in dogs.

Popantel Dosage and Treatment Frequency for Dogs:

Give one tablet per 10kg bodyweight. Dosage should be rounded up to the nearest quarter tablet.

Roundworms and Hookworms: Treat at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age and then every 3 months.

Whipworms: Treat every 6 to 8 week after 3 months of age.

Pregnant and lactating dogs: Treat at mating, before whelping and then every 3 months.

Hydatid Tapeworms: Dogs in hydatid areas should be treated every 6 weeks. Dogs should not be fed offal from any species.

Other Tapeworms: Treat every 3 months, and treat your dog regularly to control fleas.
