Bravecto Plus for Cats Treats Fleas, Ticks, Heartworm, Roundworm, Hookworm, and Ear Mites

Cats can be treated with Bravecto Plus for Cats, an advanced treatment that prevents heartworms in cats and kills fleas, paralysis ticks, gastrointestinal nematodes, and gastrointestinal parasites. The topical treatment also works to eliminate ear mites. It provides immediate relief from fleas and ticks and provides protection by breaking the lifecycle of fleas before they have a chance to lay eggs. Heartworms are protected against for two months with Bravecto Plus, fleas for three months, and paralysis ticks for ten weeks with Bravecto Plus. Additionally, it is used to treat flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). Additionally, Bravecto Plus eliminates all stages of roundworms and hookworms and protects cats against heartworm disease.

How does it work?

There are two main ingredients in Bravecto Plus spot on - Fluralaner and Moxidectin. An ectoparasiticide, Fluralaner kills any parasite that breeds on the skin, including fleas and ticks. Moxidectin binds to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels, which are essential to nerve and muscle function in invertebrates. As a result, intestinal worms can be eliminated and heartworms can be prevented.

How to Apply

• Before you begin treatment, weigh your cat to determine the correct dosage.
• Take the pipette out of the pack.
• Break open the seal.
• Put the pipette against the base of the cat's head.
• Pipette contents should be applied gently to visible skin by squeezing the pipette gently.

How is Bravecto Plus different from Bravecto?

With Bravecto Plus for cats, your pet is covered to a greater extent. The Bravecto Plus has the same flea and paralysis tick prevention as Bravecto for Cats, but also treats roundworm, lungworm and ear mite infestations and guards against heartworm infection.

Does Bravecto Plus work on all cats?

Bravecto Plus is safe for all cats, provided they have not already experienced an adverse reaction to any of its active ingredients. You can start using Bravecto Plus on kittens over 9 weeks and over 1.2kg, and increase the dosage as your cat grows. Whenever in doubt, contact your veterinarian.

What are the side effects?

Bravecto Plus rarely causes side effects after administration. They occur in fewer than 2.5% of treated cats. In the unlikely event that your cat is affected, it will resolve within hours or days. Any symptoms you observe should be discussed with a veterinarian.

When does Bravecto Plus start working?

Bravecto Plus kills pre-existing parasites and protects your cat against new infestations within 12 hours of application.
