Nuheart Heartworm Treatment for Dogs

Nuheart is a generic alternative to Heartgard for preventing heartworms in dogs. The same ingredient is used in this monthly treatment at the same dose rate as in Heartgard. Dogs readily accept the meat-flavoured tablets. By eliminating heartworm larvae from dogs, Nuheart protects dogs from the dangerous heartworm disease.

How does it Work?

Nuheart contains the same ingredient as Heartgard, Ivermectin. Heartworm larvae are prevented from developing into adult heartworms with this treatment. This ingredient kills the heartworm larvae that infected the dog a month ago. Thus, Nuheart heartworm tablets prevent heartworm disease caused by the parasitic worm Dirofilaria Immitis in dogs.

Directions

  • Before starting treatment, dogs should be tested for heartworms.
  • Start the treatment by weighing your dog.
  • Directly into the mouth, administer one tablet.
  • When feeding difficult dogs, dissolve the powder in a small amount of water and add it to the food.
  • Make sure your pet consumes all food.
