What worms does Paragard Wormer for Dogs treat?

Roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms can be prevented and treated with Paragard Allwormer. To protect your dog from these potentially fatal parasites, you should also use a heartwormer in addition to gastro-intestinal worms.

 

Does Paragard for Dogs work?

The most common types of intestinal worms found in Australian dogs can be prevented and freed with Paragard Wormer for Dogs when administered as directed. The effectiveness of Paragard against intestinal worms and tapeworms is broad-spectrum and long-lasting. Flea and tick products are also recommended for a more complete protection.

 

How long does it take for Paragard for dogs to start working?

As soon as your dog consumes the tablet, the active ingredients in Paragard Allwormer begin working. You may see worms in your pet's droppings for up to 48 hours after treatment if worms were present.

 

How much Paragard Wormer for dogs do I give my dog?

The amount of Paragard Allwormer you should give your dog depends on its weight and the product you have purchased. Currently, we stock medium and large dog packages for dogs weighing up to 10kg and 20kg.

 

How often should I give Paragard Allwormer to my dog? 

At 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age, administer the right amount of Paragard Allwormer to your puppy. After that, Paragard Wormer for Dogs should be given every three months, unless your veterinarian recommends otherwise.
