Directions for Use

To avoid overdosing, please weigh your dogs before treatment. Make sure you record the date, the dog's name, and weight on the Worm Control Chart on the sleeve of the package.

Tablets of the appropriate size or combination of tablets are given to your dogs based on their weight. Aristopet Allwormer is taken by mouth in a single dose. No fasting is required before dosing. For dogs up to 10kg, one 10kg tablet is sufficient for treating them. All other weights and dogs over 10kg receive a combination of these tablets. It is important to treat pregnant dogs before whelping, during pregnancy, and every three months after delivery.

Dogs should not be fed or allowed to feed on any offal from any species in order to prevent Hydatid Tapeworm infection. Hydatid-infected dogs should receive treatment every six weeks. The treatment should be repeated every three months for other types of tapeworms.

Roundworm and Hookworm should be treated at 2, 4, 8 and 12 weeks of age, and then every 3 months thereafter.

After 3 months of age, treat whipworms for 6 to 8 weeks.

Make sure all dogs in the household are treated at the same time for effective worm control. Animals infested with worms are a constant source of reinfection for other dogs. Dogs with worm infestations show signs of fatigue, weight loss, vomiting and diarrhea. Flea control is an important part of the worming program. There is a common tapeworm infestation in dogs (Dipylidium caninum) that is transmitted by fleas. Check out some flea medication options.
