Illium Ear Drops - Dr Carl Pet Supplies

Does your dog or cat have smelly ears? Is your pet scratching her ears or shaking her head? Your pet might have ear problems…but Ilium Ear Drops can help!

Dogs (especially those with floppy ears) and cats can get sore ears, or ear inflammation or infections, and there are a range of causes for this.  A great place to start to help your dog or cat (or to prevent problems) is Ilium Ear Drops.

What does an ear infection look like in a dog or cat? When should I worry about my pet’s ears?

As a loving pet owner, you should keep an eye on the health of your pet’s ears, especially if you have a cat or dog prone to ear problems.  Gently look at the inside of your pet’s ears - healthy ears are pink, clean and don’t particularly smell.  A dog or cat that has a problem with their ears might have :

  • a discharge from one or both ears
  • ears that look red
  • A lot of wax in their ears
  • A bad or strong smell when you sniff their ears
  • Constantly scratching their ears or shaking their head
  • Loss of balance
  • Hearing loss

These problems can be caused by ear mites, a foreign body, or bacterial or fungal infections.

Whilst ear problems can be serious, and can require veterinary treatment, using Ilium Ear Drops might resolve the problem or give relief to your dog, and can also be used as a preventative ear treatment.

Ilium Ear Drops - antifungal, anti-bacterial and kills mites - and gives pain relief!

Ilium Ear Drops works as an ear-cleaning solution, but does more than simply clean your pet’s ear.  It also kills ear mites (horrid creatures that can live in your pet’s ears and cause them irritation and discomfort), and is also antibacterial, antifungal and insecticidal - this can be a great start to get on top of an early infection.  Ilium Ear Drops also contains lignocaine hydrochloride, which helps reduce pain and inflammation.

Of course, if symptoms persist, you need to take your cat or dog to the vet for a thorough examination of the cause of ear irritation or pain.  However, Ilium Ear Drops are a great way to maintain your pet’s aural hygiene because Ilium Ear Drops are:

  • Anti bacterial
  • Anti fungal
  • Kill ear mites
  • Able to reduce pain and inflammation in your pet’s ears.

Ilium Ear Drops are a great part of your pet first aid kit!

How do I use Ilium Ear Drops?

Ilium Ear Drops are easy to use.  Simply apply 4 to 8 drops in the affected ears twice daily for 4 to 7 days until the condition completely resolves, or as directed by your vet.  Most pets are willing for you to calmly hold them and drop the liquid into their ears, although vigorous head shaking may follow - keep your pet still for a few extra seconds, if you can, to allow the ear drops to enter the ear completely. A gentle massage of the ear (if it doesn’t cause your pet pain) will help the medicine to be evenly distributed.
