Grooming Products

Bringing you all of the essential grooming supplies for your cat in one place.

Well-groomed cats are less likely to leave fur on your floors and furniture and are happier and healthier. Despite this, cats don't always enjoy being groomed. Getting your kitty comfortable with being brushed and having their nails clipped requires patience and treats

Hairbrushes and Combs

There are a number of types of brushes. Certain brushes are designed for specific types of cats (such as long-haired or short-haired cats) or for specific tasks (removing dander, for instance). Bristles can be hard, soft, wired, or pin-like on a cat brush.

A slicker brush has a flat rectangular platform covered with thin steel bristles. Slicker brushes are suitable for all types of cats. The cats eventually learn to seek out and practically beg for this grooming tool if they are groomed with it every day in the same place!

Rubber grooming pads, such as the Kong Zoom Groom, and grooming gloves are also available. With them, you can massage your cat's skin while also removing dead hair from cats with short coats.

It is also possible to use combs. It can be a fine-toothed comb (sometimes called a flea comb) or a wide tooth comb. It is possible to remove hair mats from long-haired cats' coats using talcum powder and a comb.

Scissors and Nail Clippers

You may not enjoy clipping your cat's nails, but it can prevent scratches and damage to your furniture. The most common type of nail clipper is a "guillotine" style, where the nail is inserted into a small opening and cut by squeezing the handles together. It is also possible to purchase scissors with rounded or blunted ends that prevent accidents for both the cat and its owner.

Lint Rollers

A lint roller is essential for anyone who owns a pet. It can be difficult to remove animal fur from your clothing. Picking fur from your clothes and furniture becomes much easier with a lint roller. Among the things you can use a lint roller for are blinds, fly screens, lamp shades, pool tables, couches, and cat scratch poles.

Wipes and Sprays

Occasionally, your cat gets dirty, but not dirty enough to require a bath. For quick cleanups or to wipe muddy paws, pet wipes are ideal. Some contain aloe vera or vitamin E, which keeps your cat's coat soft and shiny.

If your cat doesn't quite need a bath, but is just a bit smelly, use sprayers or coat sprays on a regular basis to freshen up her coat. Spraying them on your cat before brushing it can also help detangle the coat. The products are always safe for cats and non-toxic.
